1. The single-handle hydraulic pilot control system provides the whole machine with comfortable operations and flexible adjustment performance, and hydraulic components of first-class brands ensure the operational reliability of the whole hydraulic system.

2. Rack-and-pinion push-pull ensures the operational stability and transmission reliability of the power head. XCMG patented technology of power head and vise floating can greatly protect the drill pipe thread to increase the service life of the drill pipe by 30%.

3. High/low speed push-pull and rotation system in which the
variable piston motor achieves the high/low push-pull speed of power head improves the ability to adapt to various working conditions and construction efficiency of the drilling rig.

4. The whole machine adopts innovative technologies such as seat switch, logic interlock, optional proportional wire-controlled walking, electric shock protection, 20% instantaneous force augment and so on to meet requirements of EU CE safety certification.

5. The push-pull and rotation adopt multi-output technology, and the engine adopts high-pressure common rail and full electric control module technology. The system is energy-saving and efficient, and the construction efficiency is increased by 15%.

6. To meet the diverse needs of customers, cab, air-conditioner, cold boot, mud anti-freezing, automatic pipe loading, electric shock alarm and automatic thread oil daub functions are optional to reduce labor intensity and improve construction efficiency.

2、Power Head

The power head realizes the push-pull action through the rack-and-pinion. XCMG patented power head and vise floating technology reduces the damage to the threads during the process of unloading the drill pipe, reduces the operation requirements for the operator, and increases the service life of the drill pipe by 30%. The piston variable motor achieves large torque rotation and high speed push-pull, making the construction efficient and the system energy-saving.

3、Hydraulic System

The host machine adopts hydraulic pilot control system to obtain sensitive adjustment, comfortable operation and high reliability. Main hydraulic components (pumps, valves, motors and cylinders) are all domestic and international first-class brand products with good performance and high reliability. The three pumps work coordinately for the actions of the whole machine and reasonably distribute the engine power.

4、Chassis

XZ420E adopts stable chassis and high quality steel track with rubber plate
to obtain good site adaptability and high reliability; breaststroke leg structure supported by large size cylinder ensures good stability. Walking reducer of famous brand has stable performance and the traveling speed can reach 2.6 km / h.

5、Mud System

The 450L/min mud pump provides strong and large-flow mud, which ensures smooth and safe construction and meets construction requirements in rock formations. Mud anti-freezing device for winter and routinely used mud cleaning device are optional to improve construction convenience.

6、Cab (Optional) and Console

Optional cab with air-conditioner ensures the normal construction work in winter and summer, provides the operator with a comfortable and safe operating environment, and improves the construction efficiency.

The operating system fully considers the comfort of the operator during the construction process and the rationality of the instrument layout. Combined with the hydraulic pilot control and electronic control, the operating system is comfortable, convenient and energy-efficient.

7、Pipe Loader (Optional)

Semi-automatic pipe loader

The machine can be optionally equipped with semi-automatic pipe loader which can realize the handling of drill pipe through the motor rotating mechanism. 

Full-automatic pipe loader

It can also be optionally equipped with a full-automatic pipe loader to realize automatic handling of drill pipe through mechanical devices. The drill pipe box can accommodate 36 pieces of φ83 integral drill pipes. If there are not enough drill pipes in the box during the construction process, the pipe charging function can be realized by the XCMG patented structure. The pipe loader ensures high construction efficiency and good reliability, and effectively reduces the labor intensity.
