XCMG XR460E Rotary Drilling Rig

XCMG XR460E rotary drilling rig is a new-generation high-tonnage model in XCMG E-series product line. Developed on the basis of the mature XR400E, it has been upgraded with higher power output and optimized system flow, which effectively improves the main winch lifting force and power head torque, thus achieving higher construction efficiency.

To enhance operational stability and reliability, the XR460E adopts a full set of optimized heavy-duty structural components, including a sectional thick-plate drilling mast, vertical pin type power head bracket, and reinforced turntable, ensuring stable and durable performance under harsh working conditions.

This rig is specially designed for concrete cast-in-place pile boring in large-bore, deep-pile and hard-stratum engineering projects. It is particularly suitable for projects with high demands on construction efficiency and convenient site transfer.

The XR460E can be equipped with interlocking or friction Kelly bars, and works efficiently with various drilling tools such as bailing buckets, barrel drills and short auger rotary buckets. It can also be matched with diversified working devices including casing oscillators and full rotary drills to meet complex construction requirements.

Introduction to Highlights of XCMG XR460E Rotary Drilling Rig

1. The telescoping crawler chassis with swing outriggers is used and the large-diameter slewing bearing is equipped to achieve higher overturning resistance and guarantee the working stability and transport convenience. The large diameter slewing bearing is installed to achieve higher overturning resistance.

2. The power head adopts vertical pin connected power box body and bracket, featuring high reliability and easy and quick disassembling and installation. The power head incorporates general mode, rock drilling mode, medium-speed rock drilling mode, and energy-saving mode so that the user can select the corresponding mode depending on specific geologic condition to improve the construction efficiency and reduce the fuel consumption.

3. The main winch adopts single rope guide technology so that the life of wire rope is longer by 2~4 times than that of multi-layer wire rope to realize lower operating cost.

5. Both main and auxiliary hydraulic systems adopt the load-sensing control technology to realize quick response and good maneuverability. The double overhead radiator system is installed to intelligent adjust the heat dissipation performance based on the temperature, featuring high heat dissipation capacity and high energy-saving and noise-reduction.

5. The installed Cummins 15L electronic control turbocharged engine features strong power, low fuel consumption, and easy and convenient services. The distributed independent radiator system is applied to realize high heat dissipation performance and low noise.

6. The intelligent control system realizes the automatic drilling mast verticality adjustment and display, automatic soil dumping (Adjustable frequency), cruise control, stepless pressurizing force adjustment, and touchdown protection functions and adopts bus panel design to effectively prevent maloperations. The 12” touchscreen is installed to achieve better maneuverability.

1. Chassis

The installed XCMG TDP series special telescopic crawler chassis for rotary drilling rig features high structural strength and the large-diameter heavy-duty slewing bearing guarantees super-high stability. The frame bottom is installed with outrigger cylinders to ease the disassembling of left and right tracks. 5. Winches

6. Drill pipe

XCMG XR460E rotary drilling rig can be equipped with interlocking type or frictional type drill pipes. The interlocking type drill pipe is suitable for rock stratum and the frictional type drill pipe is suitable for soil stratum. The drill pipes include 4-section interlocking type, 5-section frictional type, and 6-section frictional type drill pipes.

7. Drilling Mast

The box-shaped structural design with high strength materials incorporates both strength and rigidity. The double-boom large-parallelogram luffing mechanism realizes larger support range and angle and higher working stability.

8. Cab

The noise protection cab with FOPS function is equipped with heating and A/C system, interior and exterior illuminating lamps, and wiper and washer with water spray function. The large sunroof design provides a good vision field. The upper protective screen can be opened to ease the cleaning. The seat, display screen, and the monitor screen are adjustable to provide a comfortable operating environment for the operator.

9. Electric system

The Rexroth RC28 series controller and the Wika ICP7100 series display are used. The interface layout of the display takes into sufficient consideration the humanization and convenience and the hierarchical treatment requires specific authority for data calibration and parameter change. The inclination and pressure sensors adopt imported products. The harnesses are treated by knitting process to guarantee waterproof performance and wear resistance. The connectors are added with small parts (Such as rubber) to guarantee the waterproof performance.
