XCMG XR450E Rotary Drilling Rig is a new-generation high-tonnage model in XCMG E-series product line. By increasing power output and optimizing system flow, the rig achieves significant improvement in working efficiency and construction performance.

To ensure outstanding stability and reliability under heavy-duty working conditions, the XCMG XR450E Rotary Drilling Rig adopts a full set of optimized large-scale structural components, including a large vertical plate slewing platform, heavy-duty big triangle luffing mechanism, sectional thick-plate drilling mast, vertical pin type power head bracket and other advanced structures.

This rotary drilling rig is specially designed for large-diameter boreholes, deep foundation piles and hard strata conditions. It is widely applied in pile foundation construction for large-scale key projects such as river-crossing bridges and sea-crossing bridges, providing reliable and efficient solutions for global large-scale infrastructure construction.

Introduction to Highlights of XCMG XR450E Rotary Drilling Rig

1、The hydraulic system adopts full electronic control technology, which has fast response and good control performance. The power of the main pump is adjusted according to the requirements of the working conditions, and the auxiliary system adopts the load-sensitive control technology, and the comprehensive construction efficiency of the system is increased by 20%;

2、Adopting H-type hydraulic telescopic crawler chassis for rotary drilling rig, equipped with large-diameter slewing bearing, with chassis disassembly and assembly outriggers, to ensure work stability and transportation convenience;

3、The installed Cummins 15L electronic control turbocharged engine features strong power, low fuel consumption, and easy and convenient services. The inter-cooling and water-dispersed independent radiator system is applied to realize high heat dissipation performance and low noise.

4、The rotary drive adopts vertical pin connected power box body and bracket, featuring high reliability, easy and quick disassembling and installation; Equipped with a casing drive adapter,  and improve the drilling rig’s casing driving capacity; The power box is equipped with a circulating filtration system to maintain the cleanliness of the gear oil in the box and the full lubrication of the bearings;

5、Adopting double-large vertical plate box-type slewing platform structure, the operation is more stable and reliable;

6、The main winch is connected on the platform by pin shaft, which has high connection strength and convenient disassembly and assembly. Main winch bracket adapts box-type structure, the structure is safe and reliable. The main winch can reach 520kN, which meets the M6 working conditions, and the life of the reducer can reach up to 10000h;

7、The intelligent control system realizes the automatic drilling mast verticality adjustment and display, automatic soil dumping (Adjustable frequency), cruise control, stepless crowd force adjustment, and touchdown protection functions and adopts the design of bus panel to effectively prevent misoperation. The 12” touchscreen is installed to achieve better maneuverability.

1、Chassis

The installed XCMG TDP series special telescopic crawler chassis for rotary drilling rig features high structural strength and the large-diameter heavy-duty slewing bearing guarantees super-high stability. The industry’s most mature special chassis technology for rotary drilling rig boasts the application experience of >4,000 piling machines.

2、Engine system

The imported Cummins electronically controlled turbocharged engine is selected, which has low fuel consumption, meets the requirements of national emission standards, energy saving and environmental protection; sufficient power reserve to meet the plateau construction. Adopt electronic intercooling fan, which has low noise;

3、Hydraulic system

The hydraulic system adopts full electronic control technology, which has fast response and good control performance. The power of the main pump is adjusted according to the needs of the working conditions, and the construction efficiency is high. The auxiliary system adopts load-sensitive control technology, which is energy-saving and efficient.

4、Rotary drive

Rotary drive can equipped with crowd cylinder or crowd winch,the vertical pin connected power box body and bracket are used to achieve high reliability and easy and quick disassembling and installation. The upper and lower sealing structures of the box body is designed with double-layer seals to achieve good sealing performance and long life; Equipped with a casing drive adapter, and improve the drilling rig’s casing driving capacity; The power box is equipped with a circulating filtration system to maintain the cleanliness of the gear oil in the box and the full lubrication of the bearings;

Remark: The crowd winch is optional, under the crowd winch configuration, the standard  crowd stroke is 10m, and the optional crowd stroke is 16m.

5、Winches

Both main and auxiliary winches adopt the XCMG’s industry-leading single rope guide technology to effectively solve the wear problem of wire ropes and prolong the lives of wire ropes by 2~4 times. The main winch meets the M6-T5 working condition.

6、Kelly bar

XCMG XR450E Rotary Drilling Rig can be equipped with interlocking type or frictional type drill pipes. The interlocking type drill pipe is suitable for rock stratum and the frictional type drill pipe is suitable for soil stratum. The drill pipes include 4-section interlocking type, 5-section frictional type, and 6-section frictional type drill pipes.

7、Drill mast

The box-shaped structural design with high strength materials incorporates both strength and rigidity. Big triangle luffing mechanism realizes larger support range and angle and higher working stability.

8、Cab

The noise protection cab with FOPS function is equipped with heating and A/C system, interior and exterior illuminating lamps, and wiper and washer with water spray function. The large sunroof design provides a good vision field. The upper protective screen can be opened to ease the cleaning. The seat, display screen, and the monitor screen are adjustable to provide a comfortable operating environment for the operator.

9、Electric system

The 12” touchscreen display are used. The interface layout of the display takes into sufficient consideration the humanization and convenience and the hierarchical treatment requires specific authority for data calibration and parameter change. The inclination and pressure sensors adopt imported products. The harnesses are treated by knitting process to guarantee waterproof performance and wear resistance. The connectors are added with small parts (Such as rubber) to guarantee the waterproof performance.
