The XCMG XR400E rotary drilling rig is a high-performance construction machinery specially designed for cast-in-place concrete pile construction and foundation hole forming operations in building foundation engineering. With its reliable overall performance, this rotary drilling rig is widely applied in the foundation construction of various key infrastructure projects, including ports, highways, railways, bridges, high-rise buildings and urban complexes.

Structurally, the XCMG XR400E is composed of a stable crawler chassis and a professional drilling upper structure, ensuring excellent mobility and operational flexibility on complex construction sites. To adapt to diverse geological layers, it can be equipped with different drilling tools, which work seamlessly with friction or mechanical interlocking Kelly bars, as well as crowd cylinders or crowd winches, to achieve efficient and precise drilling operations.

Equipped with a double swing arm luffing mechanism, the XCMG XR400E not only guarantees outstanding construction stability during high-intensity drilling but also ensures convenient transportation between construction sites, effectively reducing transfer costs. The single-row rope main winch technology is adopted to greatly extend the service life of the steel wire rope, reducing daily maintenance costs for users. XCMG XR400E Advantages

6、 Drilling mast

7、Rotary drive

8、Kelly bar

XR400E rotary drilling rig can use mechanical interlocking Kelly bar which is suitable for rock layers or friction Kelly bar which is suitable for soil layers. There are 4-section mechanical interlocking Kelly bar and 5-section, 6-section friction Kelly bars.

9、Drilling tools

Long and short auger tools, ordinary drills, sand drilling buckets, and tubular rock drilling buckets can be chosen.

10、Electrical system

The system voltage is 24V, and controller, display, scram button, infrared camera system of main winch, fuse box and power master switch are adopted.

In consideration of the construction technology of rotary drilling rigs, the system adopts CANBUS control technology, integrated circuit technology and CANBUS virtual instrument technology. The human-machine interface is simple for operation and provides automatic real-time display. The PLC control system can automatically/manually adjust the verticality of the drilling mast which is shown in real time and dynamically on the display in the form of “cross” and numerical value, and the pore-forming accuracy can reach 1/400 or above. The drilling depth is automatically detected and displayed in real time, and the drilling depth error is controlled within 1%. There are various security alarms and prompt messages such as drilling mast limit, luffing limit, main winch limit, rocker arm anti-interference system, misoperation alarm, filter alarm and maintenance prompts which can furthest protect the safety of the operator and the machine.
