As a new-generation large-tonnage product of the E-series rotary drilling rigs, the XR280E is upgraded and upgraded based on the mature XR280D model, a classic product in our company’s construction machinery lineup. To further enhance construction efficiency, this large-tonnage rotary drilling rig has increased power output and optimized system flow, which can effectively shorten the construction cycle and improve the overall construction efficiency of foundation engineering, bringing more competitive advantages to global contractors.
Focusing on operational stability and long-term reliability—core demands of heavy-duty foundation construction—the XR280E rotary drilling rig adopts a full set of optimized large-scale structural components. These key components include a slewing platform with an I-beam structure (high load-bearing capacity and strong stability), a double jib parallelogram luffing mechanism (smooth amplitude adjustment and high precision), a segmented thick-plate drilling mast (strong anti-deformation ability and long service life), and a vertical pin type power head bracket (stable power transmission and low failure rate). These professional structural designs comprehensively improve the equipment’s adaptability to high-intensity construction and reduce subsequent maintenance costs.
With its excellent comprehensive performance, the XR280E rotary drilling rig is widely applied in foundation construction projects of various large and medium-sized infrastructure, including ports, docks, highways, railways, bridges, high-rise buildings and urban complex projects. In practical construction, it can be flexibly equipped with mechanical interlocking or friction Kelly bars, and cooperate with different types of rotary buckets (such as sand drilling buckets, tubular drills and short spiral drills) to adapt to diverse geological conditions. At the same time, it supports CFA (continuous flight auger) or dual rotary drive working modes, which further expands its application scope and meets the diverse needs of global foundation construction.
