All F Series transmitters can be used with both F2 and F5 systems. F Series sensors transmit data with 12-bit clock face angle and 0.1% tilt resolution. The 12 kHz DucTrak sensor is used to track existing non-metallic pipes and also works with F2 and F5 systems.

Battery Mode Description:
These battery-powered sensors enter sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity and all have 0.1% resolution.
Sensor Housing Requirements
For optimal signal sensing and maximum battery life of DCI sensors, three equally spaced slots should be cut around the circumference of the drill head housing. Slot length must be measured from the inner layer of the drill tool, and each slot should be at least 1.6 mm (1/16 inch) wide. DCI sensors fit into standard housings, although a battery cap adapter may be required in some cases.
