The DigiTrak® Aurora® display by DCI is the first color touchscreen interface display for horizontal directional drilling in the trenchless industry. We listened to customer feedback and added an 8.4-inch (21.3 cm) display with an independent stand. The Aurora is the most rugged and durable device ever designed by DCI, and it is compatible with most DigiTrak positioning receivers. Equipped with DCI’s latest telemetry technology, the Aurora delivers optimal performance even in high-interference environments. The large display clearly presents key information at a glance, greatly facilitating the management of horizontal directional drilling operations. Positioning data and customized horizontal directional drilling applications are now integrated into this innovative product.

Expand the information available to operators and improve productivity at the job site. The features of the Aurora display include: sensor temperature trending, configurable alerts and red-line alarms, real-time pull force monitoring via the TensiTrak® system during pipe pullback, and annular pressure monitoring in the borehole with DCI’s fluid pressure sensors to generate trend graphs. The Aurora can install new applications and system updates through its own USB port, Wi-Fi, or even a mobile hotspot. It never becomes obsolete and always keeps pace with the industry.
